Since the 1990 partnership with the CNC the Auvergne Rhone Alps is a regional office that supports and promotes film and audiovisual production and creation in this French region. The regional office has in the past 25 years worked to become one of the most influential in the French region. The fund has supported more than 300 films (10-15/year) and 250 different authors since 1991. With a budget around €3 million per year from the region and CNC the fund financially invests in productions for revenue returns and stipulates as a regional office that production should be done in the region. The Auvergne-Rhône-Alps region has studios and regional professionals that can contribute to new projects.
